Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula and has the largest population with the second-largestland territory by area of all the emirates, after Abu Dhabi Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature.It is a beautiful city with beach and a lot of things you can do like:

- Palm Islands. Thethree largest artificial islands in the world are located just off the coast of Dubai.

The mainly reason to visit Dubai, it is the most rich country all over the world and the more luxurious and modernplaces. Dubai is also famous for its shops. The best things to buy in Dubai is textiles, electronics and gold, electronics is believed to be much cheaper while textiles and gold offer a wide range ofselection. Furthermore, there is just a few taxes. Since 1996, you can go in Dubai shopping festival which happens each year starting in January and ending in February. Mainly you have two types ofmarkets: Gold souk and spice souk. If you like you can also visit a lot of malls. The number of these places reaches around 15.
