On February 1, 1875, Boutros Haddad and his wife Shams are in joy, their third child was born Khalil.
Khalil receives the first signs of his future vocation when he joined the novitiate of the Capuchin convent at St. Anthony of Padua in Ghazir and takes the name of Jacob.
On November 1st 1901, Abouna Yacoub was ordained.
In 1905, he founded about 230 small schools.
In 1930 he founded the Congregation of “The Sisters of the Cross”, making its specific character works of mercy.
Abouna Yacoub wrote and translated many hymns popular.
On June 22 2008, on behalf of His Holiness the Pope Benedict XVI (16), Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins said
“Blessed Abouna Yacoub in Lebanon” during a major religious celebration and popular in Beirut.
TOUFIC YOUSSEF AWAD
Toufic Youssef Awad is a lebanese writer and novelist. He was born in 1911.He was a master of Arabic language and began writing for newspapers. He studied at the College of St. Joseph in Beirut, and then continued his studies of the rights at the University of Damascus. Toufic Awad has a lot of literature and fiction, short stories and poetry. He was classified one of the best hundred Arab novels.
He wrote many novels as the “walls of the prison”, who spoke briefly about the suffering of the Algerian people during the French occupation.
He died in 1988 after the fall of a shell at his home during the Lebanese civil war
Carlos Ghosn is a Lebanese Brazilian-born businessman, born in 9 March 1954. He is married and has four children. Ghosn is multilingual, speaking 5 languages fluently(Arabic, Portuguese, French, English and Japanese).
He is the current President of Renault of France and Nissan of Japan. Before he joined Renault, Ghosn had worked with Michelin for 18 years He was voted “Man of the Year 2003” by Fortune magazine's Asian edition and is also on the board of Sony, and IBM.
In 2004 he was added to the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame. Ghosn became president
