With Clement, we will present the association of WWF and the objectives.
WWF represent World Wildlife Fund, it's the official name in the USA and Canada. It’s a international non-gouvernmental organization. The WWF’s financing is based on the generosity of many people. It was created in 1961(nineteen sixty one), the 11th September. It consist of 5 millions supporters in 90 (ninety) countries in the world.
The WWF budget is 447 millions euro (four hundred and forty seven). 45% (forty five percent) of the fund's income comes from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Its logo is the giant panda and its slogan is “for a living planet”. In 2010 the WWF Chairman is Yolanda Kakabadse, a former Minister of Environment of Ecuador. Its principal objectives are: the protection of endangered species, the conservation of biodiversity ,the renewable energies ,the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption consequently the global warming and the greenhouse effect.
