SUMMARY – "Morphological variability within several spontaneous clovers in Algeria". A behaviour study was conducted on several populations (144) belonging to 13 species of spontaneous clovers (Trifolium) in Algeria. The attempt was conducted at the experimental station of Guelma (Est of Algeria). The characters are related to the seeds, seedlings and plants (weigh of thousand seeds, gathering, types of leaf marks, types of leaves, pollinization, diseases). The obtained results indicate the existence of a morphological variability. This variability would be linked to the ecological factors of the origin environment of the populations (rainfall, altitude). Certain especies of clovers would contribute efficacely to the rehabilitation of rangeland ans pasture throughout Algeria. Key words: Trifolium, variability, seeds, plants, origin.
