Abstract
The importance of end-user development is proved by many ways of giving satisfaction to end-users and employees of the information system department within a company.
It tends also to reduce costs of a company and so increase its competitive performances.
And so, even if some people tends to claim that end-user development is not necessary and costs more money than it permits to save it.
Introduction
Nowadays, the importance of end-user development has been proved in many ways by examining different cases in different companies within their information systems departments using end-user development.
However, sometimes, we see that information systems departments argue that end-user development is not necessary, and implies more disadvantages than it brings advantages for companies.
Yet, we will see that is statement of things is completely false, because even if some problems or boundaries can appear in end-user development, it is actually not end-user development which is at the origin of hypothetical problems.
Indeed end-user development provides many different benefits for the end-users, for the information system department and for the wellbeing of the company more generally. These benefits are quite important and permit the good working and making of the applications and tools given for end-user development and also it responds to the mainly reasons why there is still a growth a end-user development – which tends to appear more and more essential.

The main problems which appear with end-user development can not lead to a judgment whereas end-user development could be considered as a waste of time.
